1. Legal information
Plaaaces is published by FIZZY APP, a simplified joint-stock company (SASU) registered under SIRET 979 647 369 00011, headquartered at 6 Place du Président Thomas Woodrow Wilson, 31000 Toulouse, France. Contact: [email protected].
2. Purpose & acceptance
Plaaaces is a mobile application that lets you save plaaaces, organize them on a personal map, and share them. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the service.
By creating an account, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. Account
Registration is done via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it.
One account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
4. Use of the service
Plaaaces is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal purposes
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data in an automated manner
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Upload spam, malware, or misleading content
- Circumvent usage limitations or security measures
Plaaaces reserves the right to moderate, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice.
5. User content
You retain full ownership of your content (plaaaces, photos, collections, notes). By using the service, you grant Plaaaces a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating the service.
You warrant that you have the rights to any content you upload. You are solely responsible for your content.
The following content is prohibited:
- Illegal, defamatory, or fraudulent content
- Content that infringes copyright or intellectual property rights
- Sexually explicit or violent content
- Personal data of third parties without their consent
Plaaaces may remove any content that violates these terms.
6. Sharing & collaboration
You can share collections publicly, via private link, or with invited collaborators. Collaborators may have different roles (owner, editor, viewer).
Forking a collection creates an independent copy — changes do not sync back to the original. You can revoke access to your collections at any time.
7. Premium subscription
Plaaaces offers a Premium subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are managed and billed through the Apple App Store.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can cancel at any time in iOS Settings → Subscriptions
- No refund is issued for partial periods (Apple policy)
- Premium access continues until the end of the paid period
Plaaaces may modify pricing with 30 days prior notice. New pricing applies at the next renewal.
8. Intellectual property
The Plaaaces brand, logo, design, and source code are the exclusive property of FIZZY APP. Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
Place data is provided by Google Places and is subject to Google's terms. Map display is provided by Mapbox and is subject to Mapbox's terms.
9. Liability & warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Plaaaces does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of place data.
Plaaaces is not liable for:
- Temporary service interruptions (maintenance, technical issues)
- Loss of data, except in case of proven fault
- Content created by users
- Third-party services (Mapbox, Google, Apple)
This limitation does not apply to personal data obligations under GDPR.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the application. This results in the permanent and irreversible deletion of all your data.
Plaaaces may suspend or terminate your account in case of violation of these terms. Data is handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
Plaaaces may modify these terms with 30 days prior notice via in-app notification or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by French law.
In case of dispute, you may first seek an amicable resolution by contacting us at [email protected]. You may also use a consumer mediation service in accordance with Articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
Failing amicable resolution, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
